"Dolores"
María Teresa Herrera Bustamante (she/her/ella) is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion educator, as well as an English As A Second Language instructor. Her acting credits include: Spider Woman Stories with Two Worlds Native Theater and Performing Arts, Honky Tonk Hissy Fit with the Adobe Theater, Working Classroom’s Solving For X, Real Women Have Curves, Estoy En El Rincón, El Vagón and La Casa de Bernarda Alba with Teatro Nuevo México; Aye, No! with Camino Real Productions, and Rudolfo Anaya’s Bless Me Ultima, Farolitos of Christmas, Twelfth Night, and Rosalinda with The Vortex Theatre. Maria was also the choreographer and an actor in the musical Four Guys Named Jose Y Una Mujer Named Maria at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, and is a founding member of Hembras de Pluma, a collective of women artists, and was in Los Lobos, a film directed by Samuel Kishi Leopo, released on HBO Max in 2020.
Elizabeth Langston (she/her) was last SM for West End’s production of Hay Fever. She has previously worked as SM for Roy G. Biv play fest (SPAC), Reasons (SPAC), Talking With (Vortex), Leading Ladies (Adobe), Rosalie's Magic Rocks (SPAC), Tartuffe (Adobe), Black Coffee (Adobe), and Pericles Project (Aux Dog). She has been ASM for Farragut North (Vortex) and The Graduate (Aux Dog). She was board op for A Murder is Announced (ALT).
"Dahlia"
Beatrice Villegas (she/her) was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is a true to the heart Barilena. During the day she works as a Social Worker and by night dedicates her time to the arts. She has been involved in theater since 2005 with companies such as La Compania, Teatro Nuevo Mexico, and most recently with Sandia Performing Arts Company. She is greatly appreciative to her family for encouraging and nurturing her love of the arts!
Costume Designer
Hailing originally from New York, Rhonda (she/her) has been an Albuquerque resident for 46 years. She has been doing costume design in Albuquerque since 2015. Rhonda has designed costumes for the Adobe, Vortex, Aux Dog, Black Cat, Desert Rose, and West End Productions. She has also been an extra in Better Call Saul, Night Shift, and In Plain Sight. Rhonda started out as an art education major but switched to the study of Law. She is on the Board of Directors for the JCC Shalom House and the Sandia Preforming Arts Company. She enjoys travel, cooking, sewing and spoiling her grandchildren. She would like to thank her husband of 47 years for not complaining when she makes him try on costumes.
"Nelson"
Mac McNamara (he/him) is a Hispanic ABQ native and recent graduate from the Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre & Dance at SEMO; BFA in Acting and BS Mass Communications TV/Film. While Mac is primarily an actor he has also been a cinematographer, writer and director for short films and the stage. Some of his favorite roles include Orestes in The Oresteia, Billy Flynn from Chicago (Albuquerque High), where he was nominated for the New Mexico High School Musical Theatre Awards, and Brutus in Julius Caesar (Dobbins Conservatory). His other interests are in the Chicago Bears, video games, and continuing to work in the television, film, and theater industry as a career. Mac has worked with RayRey Griego since he started acting, and is ecstatic to be working with him again!
Scenic Designer
Mattie (she/her) is currently in her fourth year at the University of New Mexico getting her degree in 'design and technology for performance' with a concentration in the scenics, the last shows Mattie designed were the "scrap" productions for UNM being "Letters to Dead Poet" and "The Jaw Comb Play".
"Eddy"
Ambitious, Mr. Banuelos (he/him) has played a variety of unique roles after starring in the sketch comedy show Paperback Rhino, directed by Dani Belvin. Evoking emotion in comedy and drama, Mr. Banuelos brings energy to both the stage & camera. Some of his roles have been the Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland, Verges in Much Ado About Nothing, and Billy Robbins in An American Daughter. Experience working with such great directors as Lauren Dusek Albonico and taught by the talented Susan Erickson, Mr. Banuelos plans to burst on the scene by taking on numerous roles in both theatre and film. He thanks his family & loved ones for the unparalleled support.
Lighting
Born and raised in Albuquerque, Riley (he/they) has spent almost half his life in theatre throughout school and work. Focusing on lighting design for the last several years Riley has designed a number of shows across the Albuquerque community; "Leading Ladies" at the Adobe Theatre, "Delikatessen" with Group 9 Productions at North 4th Art Center, "Travels With my Aunt", "Black Comedy", "The Dumb Waiter" and "Hay Fever" with West End Productions at North 4th Art Center, and most recently "Holes" and "The Little Mermaid Jr" with Heartstrings Theatre Company. Branching out to sound design recently as well with "Trevor" and "References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot" at The Vortex Theatre. You can now catch them as the Technical Director at The Vortex Theatre, with major thanks to Shannon Flynn and RayRey Griego for their continued support. Riley dedicates the work in this show, and all his theatrical pursuits, to the loving memory and honor of his late best friend Kelli Ingle."

"Beverly"
Madilyn (she/her) only moved to the Albuquerque area a few years ago where she fell in love with live theatre. She’s been most active at the Vortex theatre working as backstage crew, and just recently started working as a stage manager, her stage management work includes “Low Moon” (Vortex) and “References to Salvador Dalí Make Me Hot” (Vortex). “Our Lady of the Tortilla” will be Madilyns first on stage appearance and she is so grateful for this opportunity and is incredibly excited to work with this cast, crew, and theatre!
Props
Ricky will be doing props for Our Lady of the Tortilla. "I am new to the theater scene and have stage managed a few shows such as the Revolutionists, Trevor, and Keely and Du. This will be my first time doing props and I am happy to get the opportunity to work with such talented individuals. If you like how it came out… you can give me props."
"Val"
Nicee Wagner (she/her) is elated to be part of this show! Classically trained, Nicee has played roles from Shakespeare to local playwrights, with Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet", Bianca in "Taming of the Shrew", Christopher Robin in "The House at Pooh Corner", Amelia in "The House of Bernarda Alba", and Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest being some of her most notable roles. You may also have heard her voice narrating audiobooks such as Strike the Blood, The Secret Garden, or Little Tyrant on YouTube or Another World Audiobooks. Nicee earned the title of International Thespian from Thespian Troupe 1775 in 2005. She studied theatre and foregin languages at the University of New Mexico, graduating with a B.A. in 2010. Hailing from R.A.F. Alconbury, Nicee now lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When she's not on stage or in the recording booth, she can often be found getting into hilarious shenanigans. She would like to thank Ray Rey for giving her such tremendous opportunities, and Ralph Adkins, whose teachings still apply today. Disfruta el espectaculo!
Sound Design
From Albuquerque, Lacey (she/her) currently serves as SPAC treasurer. She directed Rosalie's Magic Rocks at the NHCC in 2019.
